A long time ago in 1956…
Aubony can be traced back 64 years to a men’s clothing store founded in 1956 with a small bridal shop located in the back of the store. The original store was located at 23 Main St N in Hutchinson, which was acquired with the purchase of Aubony Bridal and is currently still owned by the Whites.
The original owners of the men’s clothing store had five children, two of their daughters began selling bridal fashions and derived the name “Aubony” after their Auburn hair.
Yes, this fairy-tale name is a make-believe word!
August 11, 2005
When it came time for the original owners to retire, they offered the business for sale. Pamela White, a real estate broker, had seen the listing for the bridal shop and was intrigued by it.
December 29, 2005
The Whites became the new owners of Aubony Bridal.
With plans of moving Pamela’s real estate brokerage to a historic building located on the corner of 1st Ave & Main Street, she couldn’t help but think about how beautiful the dresses would look on display in those floor to ceiling windows!
In her heart she knew that it was the perfect home for Aubony Bridal.
2006
48 & 50 Main St S, Hutchinson
Doubling its’ retail space, Aubony Bridal moved to the larger store in 2006, with beautiful storefront windows, high ceilings, and hardwood floors. The new store was elegantly remodeled and designed to showcase the vast array of gowns and special occasion dresses, and to give customers an experience as magical as their “once in a lifetime” event!

44 Main Street South
In 2010, when the building next to Aubony Bridal located at 44 Main St S was offered for sale, the Whites were thrilled to have the opportunity to expand. They closed on the property on December 1st, 2010 with plans of expanding their offerings to include boutique fashion.
Aubony Bridal expanded its’ name to Aubony Bridal & Boutique.
September 2018
Aubony transitions from the traditional retail business model to a closed showroom, being open “By Appointment Only”. This life-altering decision provides the experience of a lifetime for all Aubony customers.
Aubony launches a new interactive e-commerce website.
The new website attracts customers from around the world, turning a small town bridal business into a global enterprise.
December 2018
In an effort to streamline operations, Pamela moves her real estate & property management office into the front of the boutique at 44 Main St S. This unexpected move provides Pamela with the rare opportunity to share in every single customer experience. Resulting not only in an enhanced customer experience but also an elevated owner experience beyond anything she could have dreamed possible, creating a magical connection with clients that is beyond extraordinary.
